When Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) needs money to save her apartment, she doesn’t know who to ask. It’s weird to ask her friends, things are complicated with Mr. Big (Chris Noth), and her job doesn’t *quite* pay enough. Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), in the midst of a divorce, knows that the best decision for her is also the best decision for her friend. In a sweet moment, she offers her engagement ring to Carrie (as a loan, of course), just so she can get back on her feet and keep her apartment. After all, what are friends for?
