Ana de Armas has seemingly confirmed the deadliest sequence in John Wick history is coming in six months thanks to a new action scene in Ballerina. As the first person to try and lead a John Wick spinoff and replace Keanu Reeves, Ana de Armas has massive shoes to fill to satisfy audience expectations. Ballerina knows the pressure associated with expanding the beloved action franchise in this way and is taking all the necessary steps to give viewers another adventure that rivals John Wick’s kill count in the movies.
The assurance that Ballerina is not looking to disappoint from an action perspective has been made clear throughout the film’s development. The movie went through public reshoots meant to increase the action sequences so that the fights meet the high bar set by Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski’s entries in the main franchise.
