A new poster reveals details about an upcoming The Simpsons and Marvel crossover featuring everyone’s favorite God of Mischief, Loki. The long-running animated series has been on the air since 1989 breaking numerous records over its thirty year history. Not only is The Simpsons the longest running animated sitcom in history, but it has also featured the most guest stars for an animated series ever, with a total of 810. The Simpsons has made a name for itself by parodying popular culture and skewering modern suburban life to great effect and it shows no signs of slowing down.
Similarly, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is moving full steam ahead with their streaming projects. Loki is the third Disney+ MCU series to debut in 2021 and it is proving to be a massive hit. The God of Mischief’s solo series beat the debuts of both WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and it’s still going strong. Loki’s fourth episode premiered today and with two more episodes to go, audiences are captivated by Tom Hiddleston’s journey as the fan-favorite character. Now, it seems like that journey is taking a detour.
