The Thor: Love and Thunder costumes get close-up looks via a new Marvel video. In about two weeks, the God of Thunder will return to the big screen, with Chris Hemsworth reteaming with director Taika Waititi for the second time in the MCU. After the success of Thor: Ragnarok, Marvel Studios is going bigger for Thor: Love and Thunder with an expanded cast and more ambitious narrative.
On the heels of the Infinity Saga, Marvel Studios laid out their plans for MCU Phase 4 and beyond. Thor: Love and Thunder was one of the first projects confirmed, with both Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson returning for the film. Aside from this, Natalie Portman’s MCU comeback was announced, and subsequently, Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher was revealed to be the villain of the story. Much like every Hollywood project, the Waititi-directed flick was delayed significantly, but after three long years, Thor: Love and Thunder’s release is almost here and Marvel Studios is celebrating that in a unique way.
