The inspiration behind this video:
Ironheart faces a challenge similar to what Sam Wilson’s Captain America went through in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and that’s how the world will react to a new Iron Man. Sam faces the issue of taking on the mantle of Captain America after Steve Rogers passed on the shield to him in Avengers: Endgame. While Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) isn’t going by the name of Iron Man and is using her own knowledge to make original suits, it still resembles a new individual filling in the shoes of a major hero in the MCU.
Sam Wilson becoming the successor to Steve Roger’s Captain America brought a lot of backlash to the former Falcon. A lot of MCU civilians don’t like Sam as Captain America ultimately due to his race. This is a huge theme in the Disney+ series, and it goes in-depth about Sam’s personal journey in struggling with taking the shield as he feels intimated by Steve’s legacy and thinks it belongs to someone else. Ironheart’s debut faces a challenge similar to that moving forward in the Multiverse Saga.
