Ray Adams (LL Cool J) watches in awe as Eva Dandrige (Gabrielle Union) verbally destroys a restaurant manager for his unsanitary cooking conditions during a health inspection which solidifies Ray’s confidence that he can take on dating her for his friends as long as he gets paid a hefty sum. Eva later finds out that the restaurant manager was actually a representative of the company that she works for who offers her a promotion in a new city. Eva now has to consider whether a move is a good fit for her as she’ll have to leave behind the 3 sisters she’s been supporting.
