Marvel’s newest Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been well received by fans both new and old. Starring Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, and Wyatt Russell, the show picks up after the events in Avengers: Endgame and answers questions about who will replace Chris Evans as Captain America. Even though The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been wildly popular, there are only six total episodes for fans to watch. Knowing this has left many fans wondering if there will be a second season of the show, but unfortunately there are few answers.
Kevin Feige doesn’t have an answer either,
In a separate press conference, Feige also spoke about the future of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. According to Deadline, Feige wasn’t willing to divulge many details either.
“We get asked (that question) much more in television, because people expect it to be like what they know before: Where’s season 2?” Feige said. “We approached it like the movies: We better make this great, because we won’t be able to do another one.”
During the same conversation, Feige admitted that there are “ideas” on the backburner if the show does get another season.
“If we were able to do another one, there’s certainly ideas. The slight difference of course… like with WandaVision, they really will go back and forth between the Disney+ series and the movies… sometimes will be a Season 2, sometimes will be a feature.”
