Oscar Isaac gets in the Marvel spirit and teases his upcoming role in Moon Knight with a new image. The next few years will see the debuts of even more content for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the franchise continues to expand on streaming. WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier kicked things off this year, and Loki will premiere in just two weeks. At the same time, there are several MCU shows currently in various stages of production, including Moon Knight. The series was first announced at D23 in 2019 and is expected to premiere on Disney+ next year.
Last fall, Isaac boarded Moon Knight as the titular vigilante, Marc Spector. Specific plot details for the series are still being kept under wraps, though it seems likely that it will explore Marc’s origin story with an eye on connecting him to the broader MCU. Isaac will be joined by Ethan Hawke as Moon Knight’s villain. Filming on the series began in Budapest earlier this year, and Isaac’s impressive training has been revealed in various videos since then.
