Howard the Duck and the Collector are confirmed to appear in episode 2 of What If…?. Inspired directly by the comic issue of the same name, Marvel’s fourth series on Disney+ will revisit various key moments from the MCU and imagine if these events played out differently. Since the series is animated, multiple MCU actors are reprising their roles, such as Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, and many more.
The show is also set to bring back some of the MCU’s less prominent characters. Howard the Duck is one example, whose appearance has been anticipated since his appearance in a trailer for What If…? The Collector is another character who was spotted briefly in the trailer, but much about their roles in the series is still unknown. Episode 1 of What If…?, premiering on August 11, will reportedly focus on Peggy taking the super-soldier serum to become Captain Carter, and now the show’s creators are revealing some information about the second episode.
