Samuel L. Jackson teases Nick Fury’s new, older look in his MCU return, likely in The Marvels or Secret Invasion. Disney+ has allowed the MCU to expand in ways beyond the cinematic realm. So far, WandaVision, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki have all streamed to tremendous success. With What If…? up to bat currently, Marvel also has a slew of new shows lined up for the next few years. One of them is an adaptation of the popular crossover storyline, Secret Invasion.
The series seems to be focusing on Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who were last seen during the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The series has assembled an impressive around these two, to say the least, with One Night in Miami’s Kingsley Ben-Adir set to play a villainous role. The Crown’s Olivia Colman and Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke will play supporting roles, along with Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo reportedly starring as well. Now, the project may have taken another significant step forward.
