Inspiration behind this video:
A new trailer for The Book of Boba Fett introduces a mysterious new character. First introduced in the animated segment from the Stars Wars Holiday Special in 1978, Boba Fett has gone on to become a legendary figure in the canon. He first appeared in live-action in The Empire Strikes Back before being swallowed by the Sarlacc Pit on Tatooine in Return of the Jedi. Presumed dead, his survival was first confirmed in Legends via the Dark Empire comics. In Disney’s canon, Boba made his live-action return in the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian.
The beloved bounty hunter is now getting his own spinoff alongside Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), an elite mercenary whom he revived during the events of the mainline show. Boba Fett is now portrayed by Temuera Morrison, the same actor who played Jango Fett, the clone who raised him as his son on Kamino in Attack of the Clones. The Mandalorian spinoff will pick up right where season 2’s post-credits scene left off as Boba and Fennec kill Bib Fortuna, take Jabba the Hutt’s old throne, and attempt to make a name for themselves in the galaxy’s underworld by controlling the territory of Tatooine.
