To celebrate the launch of their new series, “A League of Their Own,” Prime Video gathered an impressive group of female athletes and volunteers that defy the typical gender boundaries in baseball to contribute to a massive letter to young female athletes everywhere. The letter, formed by more than 30,000 baseballs spanning a baseball field, is an inspiring message honoring the fierce female trailblazers of the past while offering an empowering promise of support to new generations of female athletes looking to pursue their sports dreams. This short film honoring the occasion features Maybelle Blair, Kelsey Whitmore, Justine Seigal and others.

About A League of Their Own: In 1943, Carson Shaw travels to Chicago to try out for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. There, she meets other women who also dream of playing pro baseball and makes connections that open up her world. Rockford local Max Chapman also comes to the tryouts but is turned away. With the support of her best friend Clance, she must forge a new path to pursue her dream.
