The inspiration behind this video:
A new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 image reveals a closer look at Ravager Gamora. Despite being killed in Avengers: Infinity War as Thanos sacrificed her to acquire the Soul Stone, Marvel Studios found a way to bring back the character without simply resurrecting her. Instead, the current version of the heroine comes from the 2014 timeline from Avengers: Endgame, which means she doesn’t have any recollection of her time with the rag-tag cosmic heroes. This allows director James Gunn to still incorporate Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Gamora’s situation in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is one of the film’s core plotlines. After Avengers: Endgame, Star-Lord was committed to searching for her, and that’s presumably what the team does after they leave Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. During Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel, it was confirmed that Gamora is now the leader of the Ravagers. However, since footage for the threequel was only exclusively screened at the event, the general public is still waiting to see what she actually looks like in her new position.
