The inspiration behind this video:
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will introduce many new Quantum Realm settings to the MCU, which could be inspired by Marvel Comics’ map of the Microverse. Marvel Studios doesn’t currently hold the rights to the Microverse, so it renamed the subatomic universe for the MCU, dubbing it the Quantum Realm for 2015’s Ant-Man and subsequent size-changing projects. Not much of the Quantum Realm has yet been seen in the MCU, even though several locations have been teased, including a mysterious domed city in Ant-Man and the Wasp and an expansion of the minuscule reality in trailers for Phase 5’s upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
After spending thirty years trapped in the Quantum Realm, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) will find herself journeying back into the tiny universe and introducing her family to beings who reside inside the strange dimension. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will debut Quaz (William Jackson Harper), Jentorra (Katy O’Brien), and Lord Krylar (Bill Murray), as well as providing a huge amount of development for Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror, who’s been trapped in the Quantum Realm for a number of years. As well as introducing new characters, Quantumania will see Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and his team explore many new territories that could be taking inspiration from Marvel Comics’ Homeworld.
