The inspiration behind this video:
The Flash and its Batman variants already have one major advantage over the versions of Spider-Man seen in Spider-Man: No Way Home. As seen in trailers for the upcoming DCU movie, Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) will inadvertently break the multiverse, much like Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the MCU. Although both heroes end up joining forces with versions of themselves, The Flash will also be joined by two different versions of Batman.
There’s certainly a big difference between the marketing strategies for The Flash and what was seen for Spider-Man: No Way Home. In The Flash’s case, Affleck and Keaton are being used as big draws for the movie to attract audiences while Garfield and Maguire were kept secret as a major reveal, paying off audiences’ anticipation as the ultimate act of fan service. Keeping that in mind, one would hope that The Flash will have even bigger multiverse cameos and surprises in store when the movie comes to theaters on June 16th.
